PRP-X300
PRP-X300 The Hamilton PRP-X300 material is a cation exchanger based on polystyrene / divinylbenzene. It is a so-called ion exclusion material. It is used for the separation of chemically similar alcohols and organic acids. Unlike many other polymer-based columns, Hamilton PRP-X300 columns can operate from 0-100% organic content in the eluent. As a result, on the one hand, even very hydrophobic analytes can be eluted from the separation column and, on the other hand, the column can be easily cleaned of hydrophobic impurities. The filling material is available in columns with five different inner diameters, from 1 mm to 10 mm, both in stainless steel and in PEEK. Precolumns are available for analytical and semi-preparative applications.
