PRP-X200
PRP-X200 The Hamilton PRP-X200 material is a cation exchanger based on polystyrene / divinylbenzene. It is used both for the separation of inorganic and organic cations, which are in the concentration range from 20 ppb to 200 ppm. Typical applications are determination of monovalent or divalent cations. Unlike many other polymer-based columns, Hamilton PRP-X200 columns can operate from 0-100% organic content in the eluent. As a result, on the one hand, even very hydrophobic cations can be eluted from the separation column and, on the other hand, the column can be very easily cleaned of hydrophobic impurities. The Hamilton PRP-X200 columns are stable over a wide pH range (0-9). The filling material is available in columns with six different inner diameters from 1 mm to 10 mm, both in stainless steel and in PEEK. Precolumns are available for analytical and semi-preparative applications.
